I actually disagree, although I’d say he’s quickly showing he’s struggling to get this team to the next level. I’d say it’s tough to say how much of that is his fault except for the clear eggs he’s laid when it comes to choosing coaches.
But other than that, I struggle to complain about him. Inherited what I think was the franchise in the worst shape in the league assets wise 6 years ago given the previous management (likely at ownership request) choice to ride out the Kipper and Iggy years to the bitter end and extract no value from the clear need to rebuild.
From there he’s managed to show a bias for action and this team has made the playoffs 3 of 6 years, and became respectable far quicker then I ever dreamed possible back in 2013. So I don’t think he’s overrated, but I think it’s very fair to question whether he has the right make up to push bubble team to contender......very different skill from rebuilding a team IMO.
