He was trying to be a difference maker instead of trying to let Johnny do all the dangles. He needs to do that more often. For whatever reason, Gaudreau isn't doing good this year. Monahan can drive the play but he has taken too long to figure out that Johnny just doesn't have it this year. Monahan needs to bring up Johnny instead of Johnny bringing up Monny.
