Flames make it seven in a row
All is right with the world today as our beloved Calgary Flames have gone on a 7 game unbeaten streak by beating the Broadstreet Bullies 4-3.
Robert Lang stepped up to the plate today and gave a solid performance with a goal and an assist. Also getting equal billing was none other than Danius Zubrus also with a goal and an assist.
New comer Sergei Gonchar logging 28 minutes of ice time picked up a lone assist on the power play. Sergei has been a welcomed addition to the lineup.
The newest Flame Curtis Leschyshyn played extremely well in 15 minute of ice time and was rewarded with picking up an assist as well.
Keith Tkachuk was not in the lineup tonight due to an injury in his last game with his old club. The Flames are seriously looking into the situation and are wondering if they got damaged goods in the trade. A protest may be filed with the league office......................................or maybe not
The Flames get a two day rest before taking on the mighty St. Louis Blues.
