Edmonton officially passed Calgary Saturday night, in both the macro and micro sense of the word. Spector tries to fool people into thinking that Edmonton accelerated their rebuild... that Calgary is now behind. I imagine he might even believe it, that somehow the then current Edmonton rebuild was the first one, and that Edmonton did it better. Hence they were where Calgary was "supposed to be".
