He does consider Infinity War to be the 3rd Avengers and it is very different from the first two. Giving the villain the hero's journey, the heroes losing in the end, killing someone of the most popular characters, etc.

I guess there are 2 Wolverine movies before Logan, so it could cont as a trilogy, but the 1st two suck, so we can pretend they arent a thing.
