We blame the refs... ( i don't but seems like most stars fans do) Our defense suddenly sucking isn't fault of refs.

So done with NHL refs after the game. Cogliano gets crosschecked into their goalie, and Cogs gets the penalty but not the guy who cross checked him. Add that with the 2 softies earlier. Ridiculous

This is tough to watch. Still just floors me how veteran this team is and the lack of push back or give a **** at times. I bet they're checked out for the holidays and we'll probably see as much in the 3rd.

Pk is terrible tonight but the refs calling random stuff on the Stars certainly didn't help.

Our PK has collapsed. So has defense in general.

My body is ready for this to be 5-1 and our PK rankings start to plummet

Flames are not using a lot of front net presence during their PP. This makes our 240 pounds defensemen quite useless.

Would bishop have made the save without contact? No. Was it goalie interference? Dude skated directly through the crease into Bishop’s leg. 100% interference.

That's the past couple of games. Would be ####ing nice to get a call once in a while.

So, had to leave when it was still 1-1 and I come back to this?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! This team is ####ting the bed right now and should be embarrassed of themselves.

Nill needs to do five things:
1) realize he made a mistake in appointing Bowness to IHC.
2) remove Bowness from said position.
3) appoint Todd Nelson as HC. NOT IHC, but HC. Give him some permanency.
4) admit his five year plan was an utter failure and go stick his head in the sand so he can’t do any further damage to this team.
5) sign on with DBD to write a blog each day to get the fans’ view of personnel and line up changes as well as who to draft. We’ll vote on the options available and he has to do what we tell him. Apparently we actually had a decent coach in Monty (coz this team is apparently really, really horrible and it took a modicum of skill as a coach to herd this group of cats around) so, all I have to say about that is that his firing better have been damn necessary and not some C.Y.A. b.s.

I’m trying really hard not to overreact to these last two games but man it’s hard. At least we are still in the first wild card.

We have a long break now.

If there is any time that you’d make your coaching decision and just swap Bones and Nelson, now would be the time. I know it’s not gonna happen. I’m just pointing out that there really is 0 hope after this break if it doesn’t happen. We’re gonna fall out of a playoff spot permanently, but we already won too many games to make any difference in the draft. That’s the Dallas Stars since 2008. Purgatory. Pick between 8-13 almost every single damn year.
