Feel free to keep discussing it, but Backlund's not getting traded now, and unlikely ever (unless he eventually wants to go...hard to make a good deal with only 10 potential partners).
Seattle is a mildly interesting possibility, but it really boils down to what else we can't protect. Of course, everyone will be talking themselves into the idea that what Seattle really needs is their quality veteran player.
