The whole “psyche, there was another transport ship somehow nobody saw, chewy actually isn’t dead” was the most mind numbing dumb thing I’ve seen in a movie in a while.

Twice the movie fails to commit to its stakes with its side characters. There and with C3P0 — oh no his memory is erased for forever, but it’s all played for laughs and he gets his memory back like fifteen mins later anyways. It was pretty obvious they weren’t going to leave their ultimate heroine dead by the time we get there.

Overall,
Mixed feelings.
