I loved it. Had a smile on my face the entire time and got a little misty when Chewy cried for Leia. I really don't care that a lot of it was fan service. I've been watching these movies for nearly 40 years (ROTJ was the first movie I saw in theatre) and I was ready to be served.
When Chewy got his medal my 11 year old laughed and muttered "finally". My 10 year old giggled at the Ewoks (though he whispered that the Emperor was freaking him out).
I'm going again on Monday and can't wait.
