I thought Rittich was solid for most of the game, except for the odd goal which he should have had e.g. shot from the corner. I thought the main problem was our defense let him down, and allowed far too many shots.

IMO Backlund is a good 3rd line centre, and shouldn't be on the top two lines. I hate to see Johnny playing with Lucic. Mangiapane worked very hard and showed streaks of brilliance. I thought Dube should have been played more.

I was disappointed with our effort in overtime. Allowing them to control the puck most of the time, holding back in an obvious two on one, and being unable to get it together as they have shown in the past, IMO showed a lack of confidence.

However, all in all it was a fun game for both the Flames and Hab fans. Shot wise the Habs deserved the win. At least we came away with a point, which stopped a three game pointless streak.
