In fact, I’m going to reveal a secret. You can say anything you want. It’s a free country. This is true. What happens when you say things is you help shape people’s opinions of you. People may listen to what you say and think “wow, he’s very intelligent” or they may think “this guy is a loser, an idiot, even a racist!” It really all depends on what you say, where you say it, and who you say it to. But you’re free to say it.

Just look at Snuff. He said some things. He was allowed to say those things. And it shaped others’ opinions of him.

Sometimes, that “someone” is your boss. Or your fans, or the people who generally are responsible for your well being. Sometimes they respond negatively. That’s how it works.

So, say or do whatever you want, knowing that (like it’s literally always been) what you say and do will shape others’ opinions of you. Sometimes, they are in a position to take action on those opinions, so they might do that. But do you.

Me? This thread has made my opinion of you drop. It seems like a desperate trolling attempt, or at best, really ignorant without any genuine signs of wanting to change that. My opinion of you as a poster is low. That’s what happens. That’s life. It’s also not much of a consequence, and you’re free to continue on saying whatever you want to say.
You mean say and do whatever you want unless it will offend some middle class white dudes on a hockey forum 18 years later.

Then you'll never hear the end of it.
