I very rarely say this but I think Calgary could have and should have beaten this offer and got Taylor Hall.

I think the firepower is exactly what we need right now and a new energized hometown kid would be eager to get going again. A shame and I can only assume the price was too high but man... this one would have been terrific for Calgary, seems like a missed opportunity here.
