This is pretty much exactly how I feel. If Hall were an RW, I would be prepared to throw almost anything at the deal. However, being an LW, the position they are strongest at, makes it tougher to want to pay up for him.
The thing is though, the perfect fit rarely comes along just when you need it to. As you say, Hall's presence would strengthen every line, and the Flames would have 2 complete top lines.
So it all comes down to acquisition cost, and will they be able to extend him? I am also good with a deal structured around Bennett (because Hall takes his place) and Kylington (because Hanifin, Andersson and Valimaki).
I would not be happy to see Dube, Andersson, Valimaki or our 1st moved. And not thrilled about Mangiapane either.
