A late first isn't much value to NJ at this point, they need players that they can start to surround Hughes, Hischer, and this years top 5 pick with.
Bennett, and Kylington gives then two young players that are already NHL players right now. They are both the type of players you likely are drafting with a 20-30 overall first rounder but are actually ready to play now instead of waiting 3-4 years.
IMO It's a great start to an offer for rental Hall.

I think it is far too rich for a rental Hall. Flames can’t afford to give up young talent for a 45 game rental. The prospect pool is too weak and this team has not been able to prove they can go deep in the playoffs. If those pieces are moved it needs to be for a player that will be here longer term
