For one meh Bennett you have Monahan, Valimaki, Pelletier (looking good)
We have been adequate to pretty good outside the first round for a decade now imo.
Gaudreau, Brodie, Fox (traded but our pick), Andersson, Kylington, Dube, Bread, Phillips etc, etc....
Unless you're joking that's not a very true statement as far as recent years.
Teams like the Oilers wish they drafted like the Flames outside of their shoe in top 3 picks (which they have even botched two of)
