Maybe it's the ghost of the Marquis of Lorne who's mad at everyone mispronouncing his title whenever there's a traffic problem on the highway.
He was British (son in law of Queen Victoria and Governor General of Canada), not French, so it should be correctly pronounced as "mar-quess" not "mar-kee" (like the Marquis of Queensbury, not like the Marquis de Sade). Most biographies of the guy also spell it Marquess, so he could be angry about that too.
His Wikipedia bio also says that it was suspected that he was gay, and when he lived in England, he would sneak out of the castle at night to pick up soldiers in the park...so maybe that's what his ghost is doing.
If you see the ghost of an old British fop on 22X, don't pick him up...unless you're into that sort of thing.
