This whole Trudeau thing is getting tiresome. He got outed for a stupid thing that he did, but does anyone on here REALLY believe he is racist, or just merely an idiot?

Fine, if you want to equate the Trudeau blackface(s) incident as exactly the same as what Aliu faced - fine. That's up to you to and you are entitled to your opinion. However, I have a hard time believing that Trudeau is a racist given the fact that since he has become the leader of Canada, he has gone to great lengths in trying to bring unity and equality in this nation to all races, ethnic groups, minorities and genders. He has done more - some even say he goes too far - in trying to bring equality and even right the wrongs of the past when it comes to the indigenous communities.

So, for myself, I can be disgusted by Trudeau's blackface incidents, but I am also of the mindset that I will also look at the whole picture here as well. My own logic tells me that Trudeau is both an idiot, but a person that at least seems to mean well and believe in doing good. That's why I personally can somewhat overlook his past transgressions, because he seems to actually be a person that really believes in equality. Bringing up Trudeau and trying to crucify him for his past stupidity is becoming an annoying meme now as people just seem to gloss over what his other actions were. And no, I didn't vote liberal, but it will be a cold day in hell before I vote conservative again in light of what those corrupt ####ers have done to Alberta since Klein left office - and I was a staunch conservative most of my life if anyone cares.

I have no idea why people can't seem to see degrees of intent and outcome to certain actions, and deem these to be important. So many of our laws clearly outline differences for the same crimes. Heck, speeding tickets vary wildly given the circumstances and even the time of day.

No, what Trudeau did was unacceptable and I was glad that it got called out. But no, I think he didn't crucified for it because of his actual record and his actions. Stop being a partisan idiot who blindly votes for one party and one party only. Take a look at the whole picture before forming your opinion.

I am glad that hockey is getting cleaned-up. Everyone who was a ####er should get outed. I wouldn't want any of these reprehensible human beings around my kids and 'teaching' them anything at best, or abusing them at worst. I hope this runs deep all the way to the earliest levels of hockey. This needs to be completely eradicated.
