I used to work at a (crappy) hardware store, so one morning the phone rings, I pick it up

Me: "Hello, (crappy hardware) store, how can I help you?"

Caller: "Yeah I was just wondering how long an 8 foot 2 x 4 is".

Me: "Ummm... I think that the 8 foot 2 x 4s are about 10 feet long..."

Caller: "Thanks".
