It’s not quite a fleecing but the Flames clearly came out on top as it stands.

Hanifin is a passable 2nd pairing dman, nothing more AT THIS POINT IMO. Who knows if he develops into anything more but that 2nd pairing is a tire fire at the moment but I think that's mostly Hamonic, who is our most overrated player. Couldn't work with Brodie, can't work with Hanifin. Running out of partners for him to hold back. Until we see Hanifin with a better partner, it will be difficult to assess his true value. To me though, from watching him carefully, he hasn't really improved at all in his 1.5 years here for all the advocating people do about his potential and youth. Sometimes players are who they are, even at 22 or 23. Personally, I think Andersson is a better player than either Hanifin or Hamonic. I would run Hanifin with Andersson to see what you've got. Hamonic to the 3rd pair where he belongs or, preferably, traded to another team.
Also, do you think Hamilton could be acquired for Lindholm 1 for 1? I sure don't and I think that indicates that Hamilton is actually the best player in the trade.
