Default Calgary Area Raised Players/Prospects

Looking at the WJ invite camp, there are couple guys brought up in Calgary and area so was looking deeper into this. There seem to be some good talent coming up.

NHLers
Taylor Hall - In Calgary system till age 13. Top line player
Brayden Point - Top line player
Jay Beagle - Responsible 4th line player
Austin Wagner - Upcoming bottom 6 forward
Taro Hirose - sought after UFA signee, playing bottom 6
Carsen Twarynski - Another bottom 6 forward
Logan O'Connor - Raised in Calgary. Shuffling between NHL/AHL

Not including Nylander brothers, not raised in Calgary.

Mike Green - One of premier dman in his day, now on decline
Braydon Coburn - Good career, on decline
Josh Morrissey - Top pair dman
Cale Makar - Already in Norris convo
Maxime Lajoie - Moved to Calgary at 7, should play regular NHL minutes
Thomas Hickey - Career winding down now, in the AHL now

Adin Hill - Only goalie, played well for Coyotes last year but back in AHL now

Prospects
Peyton Krebs (F) - Vegas 1st round 2019 - WHL
Jacob Bernard-Docker (D) - Sens 1st rounder 2018 - NCAA - WJC Invite
Jake Bean (D) - Canes 1st rounder 2016, playing AHL
Nicholas Merkley (F) - Coyotes 1st rounder in 2015, playing AHL
Brayden Tracey (F) - Ducks 1st rounder in 2019, playing WHL

Jaret Anderson-Dolan (F) - Kings 2nd rounder 2017, playing AHL
Jonny Tychnonick (D) - Sens 2nd Rounder 2018 - NCAA - WJC Invite
Brett Leason (F) - Caps 2nd rounder 2019, AHL

Quinn Olson (F) - Bruins 3rd rounder 2019, NCAA
Riley Sutter (F) - Caps 3rd rounder 2018, AHL
Hudson Elynuik (F) - 3rd rounder 2016. Playing in Leafs system

Ian Scott (G) - Leafs 4th rounder 2017 - Injured AHL
Maxwell Crozier (D) - Lightning 4th rounder 2019 - NCAA

Sheldon Rempal (F) - Kings UFA signee, playing AHL
Josh Teves (D) - Canucks UFA signee, 1st year AHL

If couple of these forwards end up being as good as Hall / Point thats almost an NHL team on its own from Calgary area. With some top line forwards and some decent grinders. The defence at this point would be NHL with Makar/Morrissey top pair, Green/Coburn 2nd pair, Hickey/Lavjoi 3rd pair. Hill is unproven but he looked fine last year in the NHL.

Go Calgary (and Area)!
