Is there a reason why cable companies or satelite companies in Canada can't add ESPN to there broadcast list?

I would love to have ESPN, so many good sporting events. They have awesome college basket-ball games almost every night or college football. Plus great NBA and baseball games, that we may not get here.

Is there like a law or something so our canadian sport stations don't take a hit. I know ESPN and TSN seem to work the closest by TSN getting lots of ESPN feeds, but its not the same as lots is left out that I'd like to see.
