There is scene in which Fanning's character is raped but it the scene plays out only showing Fanning's face and hand during the attack. So as it stands when all is said and done the scene is shocking but not explicit and apparently the movie is not very good.

The truth is, most directors would do this kind of scene for a shock factor. Who would want to watch that movie anyway? It was bound to fail...nobody gives a rats ass about artistic merit, nobody wants to be associated with that garbage. I think Fanning is a good child actor, but when you hear some of her interviews, she's talks a bit too big for her britches. And what the hell were her parents thinking when they allowed her to do one of those scenes?
