I don’t really think the part of the presser that I saw is going to play overly well by those who are not already pro Treliving. A direct repudiation of the behavior was what most people were looking for, and perhaps a formal statement to that effect would help. Peters already admitted to some of this publicly.
Luckily this just doesn’t seem to have caught on as a broader story. Pretty low down on the ESPN website, after the WR who mimicked peeing like a dog, until this news. Which won’t be talked about long, is my guess.
