I think a very fair question is whether the Flames considered any allegations of Peters behavior outside of the racism incident from 10 years ago.I also think it’s fair to ask how Treliving would characterize Peters leadership style during his time here.
I’m not expecting any real answers of course but is this going to come down only to Peters using racist language or will the organization have anything broader to say about abusive behavior.
He might refuse to answer any questions about Peters other than he is no longer coaching the Flames as they may well be working on a settlement with him, or will in the future. There’s no reason for that to be done before relieving him of his duties but you sure as hell better watch what you say. Since Peters admitted publicly to the racist incident that could at least be referenced.
