“Every coach in the NHL has abused players” ok, neat. How about instead of defending that behaviour we listen to the players who are saying enough is enough and allow it to change?
Guys like Peters and Babcock have been taken down a serious peg not because there is video of them acting like #######s, but because actual players have come out with stories of being bullied and abused. Like, what do you care if Peters and Laviolette are treated equally? You don’t know either of them, you haven’t witnessed any of Peters’ abuse or been in the room, you don’t know anything about Laviolette outside of a video clip, but you know enough to suggest something is amiss?
This isn’t about your or my feelings of fairness. This is about victims of the abuse in the NHL. Let’s just let them come forward if and when they want to instead of making it about our wants, ok?

We literally have video of another NHL coach punching a guy in the head but some fringe player says peters punched him and its headline news
If there is a new standard lets hold everyone accountable
Sorry if I don't have much sympathy for a guy who got kicked in the back by a loafer wearing full equipment or punched in the helmet all the while making millions of dollars playing hockey.
Racial slurs and sexual abuse are a whole different ball of wax...Peters is getting what he deserves for that
