Except one got fired for an incident that directly occurred on the job with the company that fired him, and one will be fired for something that occurred a decade ago completely unrelated to his current organization and performance. From that standpoint the Cherry firing is actually the more obvious one. (I'm not saying Peters doesn't deserve to be let go).
