I have not been discriminated against, but I take your point that white groups have been discriminated against in the past. In fact, my family is Ukranian, another group that was discriminated against so I am familiar with the historical context. (

The fact that white ethnic groups have been discriminated against in the past does not make "honkey tonk country music" equivalent to referencing "###### music" to a black person. In no world is that a good point. Even if the coach said it to an Irish-Italian cattle farmer.
