I guess if some players come out and say he never apologized it might signal that he was lying for the sake of trying to maximize his severance. In that case I’d say he’s deserves a ton of criticism. Given the involvement of a legal team, my guess is they are trying to tread very carefully which is why I say it is an important detail to note that he said he apologized for the incident 10 years ago when his accuser is saying he didn't.
