They will give an opinion on the agreement, couched in a lot of qualifications, one being you never know what will happen in court. And recommend some sort of settlement. That kind of stuff doesn't lead to an insurance claim. And frankly, Peters' salary for 1.5 years is a pretty small claim for a law firm.
Liability insurance is almost completely used for black and white stuff like missed limitation periods, failure to respond to offers, not following instructions leading to losses, missing clauses that the other side drafts that impact your client, etc.
