Okay. CaptainCruch, you are pessimistic.
Unfortunately, your theory is plausible. It could go either way. If there are current players on the team who dislike Peters they could feel like a weight was lifted off of their shoulders and they'll play much better tonight. Either they want to prove that they can play well without Peters to ensure that he does indeed get fired, or they know he is already fired and they feel better about playing for this team and new coach.
On the flipside, maybe there hasn't been an official announcement by game time and they feel uncertain about the team's future and/or are drained from the emotions and distractions of the past couple of days. What gives me hope that this isn't true is how they appeared to be loose and having fun at practice yesterday.
