- Flames players hate playing for Peters
- Agent for stars (probably Gaudreau, specifically) call Treliving to express his clients complaints about the coach.
- Treliving realizes that its time to move on from Peters, for the sake of the team
- Goes to Ownership to tell them that they cannot afford to spend an extra $2M for another 2 seasons, say either A) NO, or B) Find a way out.
- Treliving, knowing there is some history of issues, makes some phone calls to find some dirt on their coach to get out of the contract, and in turn uncovers a goldmine of evidence.
- Tre asks (??pays??) Aliu to come out with his knowledge.
- ....Everything takes off from there
- Flames get out of the Peters deal.

Again, this is 100% not what happened, but its fun to think about HOW this could have all happened.
