That's still just Aliu's take, not proof. What else was going on over that time period? Was Aliu a perfect player, teammate and person? Was his career going the exact same way from outside perspective regardless of the locker room music racist comment incident? We don't know.

All of the other factors that go into Aliu's challenges aren't all on Peters. His inability to speak up about the incident at the time is about the culture in these leagues and that's not fully on Peters either.
The only "proof" there could be would be Peters' admission that this is why it happened. Otherwise it's like any other case - the evidence piles up.

Anyway your point was he should have calmly discussed it - he did. And he got more of the same. Then, by his own admission, he turned against the coach. Is that on him? To some extent maybe, but it doesn't happen if the first part doesn't happen.
