I'm not liking this "Tre should have known better" narrative if I'm honest
And I think what Aliu has brought to light (still allegedly?) is far different from what is being tacked on. One talks about hateful speech and racism...
...The other is using physical abuse to 'motivate' players. That is another debate, and so we're all incredibly clear: I am not saying that either are ok.
But what's being tacked on are stories where a hard-ass coach crosses a line (depending on who you talk to, as well). I can understand players problem with this, but it by no means is a new tactic and only in very recent times are we starting to ask for better of leadership. I remember that Philly GIF, and when it happened I don't remember many people being too offended about it
So until we hear anything more, how can we assume Tre should have known?
