This makes no sense. It has nothing to do with respect or disrespect of a religion. "God damn it" has never been used as a means to direct hate at, disparage, or insult Christians (or anyone else that has a god for that matter). Nor has "Calisse". Or "Christ".

I drop something on my toe and say "Jesus Christ", I'm not directing bigotry at anyone. I'm breaking a rule in a religion. Just like eating bacon. If I say "turn that N music off" I sure am.

Apples and orangutangs - it has nothing to do with "consistency".
