Speaking just of the hockey side of things I didn't think that the head coach could be an issue again and that it would be a poor excuse and easy out for a group of guys that need to step up themselves, but in light of what's been revealed here perhaps as Peters tenure has gone on and the players have gotten to know his ways, it could very well be correlated to the notable drop off to where the players have looked downtrodden and at times appeared to have quit over the first stretch of this season.
Maybe there were issues in the room with the coach and the core guys kept it under wraps so as to not cause up a stir, but it was effecting the team nonetheless.
I hope Ward is the interim coach, I was both encouraged and impressed by his insight and positivity in the post game the other night.
