So... if Treliving is satisfied that the allegations are probably true, there is no way that he can permit Peters to continue to coach the team. Based on the TSN report, it seems highly, highly likely that the investigation will confirm that the allegations are likely true. Still seems like it is just a matter of time now...
I understand it from a Flames perspective. They need to act quickly, but no too quickly. Need to complete a serious investigation. I can say from experience that these types of workplace investigation often take weeks to complete. Obviously, in the context of the type of media attention that this is/will receive, they don't have weeks. But I think a day or two is entirely reasonable.
