If he is let go, that must be a pretty slippery slope. Its a sad state of affairs, that I would be hard pressed to think that Bill Peters is the only guy in the NHL who has ever uttered a racial slur. Players? Referess? Other coaches? Managers? If Peters is let go, and that precedent is set, yikes. Hell, I could even see it permeate into other leagues.

It's a slippery slope to a better and healthier sports society overall. This is not a negative.
