Wonder if Detroit is a potential trade partner. Kylington for Mantha/Athanasiou? There always seems to be smoke around one or the other and I could see Yzerman having interest in Kylington.

Regarding Treliving, one thing should be kept in mind for those who are critical. At one point the Flames, under his management, had Hamilton, Anderson, Kylington, Valamaki, and Fox. That's an absurd level of talent for an NHL teams defence under the age of 25. Sure, things change. Some of it is out of his hands, but the fact is he was able to identify and acquire those assets. I would argue the Flames haven't had that level of management since Cliff Fletcher.
