I think the face plant is coaching related. No adjustments (or poor ones) once the plan that worked 3/4 of season stopped worked.

Imo the quickest way to save the season is to fire Peters. Let one of the assistants take over and see if a coach change boost is enough to see Flames into the playoffs.

If not, fire BT when the Flames are out and let new GM hire coaches and revamp the roster.

Hopefully Flames spend money in the front office and coaches because going cheap always seems to cost them more in the long run (severance if nothing else).
