No. You specifically referred to a bunch of player interviews and a organized plan by management. It doesn't work like that, so it's just fan-talk and is basically meaningless.
But don't get me wrong, I totally understand the frustration and the desire to see things put right. I'm honestly not trying to be critical of how you feel. I'm just pointing out that it is an emotional flight of fancy.
As a professional manager of a multi-million dollar enterprise you damn well try and save the season. With everything you've got. Granted, it has to be attempted correctly as many posters here have noted. Blowing the future in a vain attempt to help today is obviously worse, but make no mistake, the mandate is reel this thing in, RFN.
