I don't really see much of a difference between either player to be honest. They are both up there in terms of shot generation, but have below average shooting percentages that could turn around.
At least Guadreau is still in the top 10 at his position in terms of scoring even with his problems so far. Monahan is way down the list at much more critical position. Even more so when the drop off to the second best center on the Flames is basically non-existent production this year.
Your top center shouldn't need to kill his offensive production to be average at everything else besides face-offs.
