The Gio cap was andnis dumb and should never be brought up in a negotiation as you completely handcuff yourself. You can set arbitrary limits and all but it should never be based on another player.
Having said that, they need to trade Johnny if that is what is bothering him. You can’t have your supposed leaders being that selfish. Course, we don’t know if that is the case as it’s all speculation but if Johnny ever hinted at this being the issue, then you tell him to start playing well again and we will trade you when your value is back up.
I honestly don’t think this is the issue. I think he’s just suffering from PTSD from the playoffs last year and he isn’t dealing with the pressure very well. Remember all the chances he had in the playoffs to make a difference and he failed every time. That is what is messing with his brain. He needs to just let it go and play like the game is fun again.
