Could it be his defense partners?
Since Giordano last played with Brodie on the top pairing he has picked up 1 assist in four games and is a minus-2, splitting time with Hamonic and Andersson. I just don't think anyone else is consistently as good on the top pairing as Brodie has proven to be. For all his warts, he remains far and away the best option to play with Giordano.
