The Province asks for our feedback... Doesn't provide anywhere on the form to provide feedback. That pretty much says it all right there.

Since they didn't give me any way to give them my actual thoughts on this, I had to vote to keep things the way they are.

My opinion on this hasn't changed since this thread was originally started 6 years ago, or since the NDP discussed this 2 years ago... We should be aligned with the rest of North America. As long as everyone else switches, we should keep switching. If everyone else stops switching, we should stop switching. It doesn't make any sense to be out-of-step with the rest of the country/continent. That causes as many, if not more, problems than switching the clocks twice a year does.

Also, I don't think we should automatically default to Daylight time year-round if we do stop switching. If BC and the western States all decide to stay on Pacific Daylight time year-round, there's some logic in aligning with them and staying on Mountain Standard time.

If you look at a time zone map, most of Alberta should actually be in the Pacific time zone anyway. The dividing line between GMT-7 (Mountain) and GMT-8 (Pacific) is at 112.5°W, which is just west of Bassano.
