Good for you, but I drive the car. If you ever read up about those posted MPG's there are a lot of factors that affect what the test-drivers get. Factors that probably don't exist for us real folk who drive the cars.

You can browse through the whole site to figure out which factors affect what. All I know is that I get the mileage I said with MY Five Hundred (a 2005 BTW, with CVT transmission). AND the mileage was the same on the Corolla we rented in Victoria. Perhaps the fact that we were driving a sea-level affected it. Or the little 4-banger isn't as efficient at moving the vehicle as my V6 is. I don't know. I was just relating my personal experience with the situation.
