I like practically all of the characters that they have introduced. Everyone is so interesting. Looking forward to seeing how the characters continue to develop.
The thing that I like the most about the characters is that they actually behave like Star Wars characters. I think this was something that they really missed in the last two trilogies. The prequels were filled with characters who acted like royalty. The latest trilogy is filled with melodrama.

They've been missing characters who seem to be actually living in the universe. Characters like Luke's adopted parents, whose main concern is the yield in their farm.

The Mandalorian is really hitting that. Loved the Jawas and the rogues in the bar. The assassin droid was just so much better than the droids we've been getting like L3-37 or those annoying clone wars droids. The droids are intelligent and have emotions but also supposed to act like computers; they aren't supposed to be straight up zanny all the time.

As for baby Yoda, all brains develop differently. If Yoda's species is ultra intelligent, you'd presume they would take longer to develop. I think he's meant to be hyper intuitive even though language wise and physically he has a long way to go.
