Agreed about the gas mileage, that doesn't make sense if the car was running fine. Lets say your five-hundred goes 500km to a tank. And the Toyota goes 500km to a tank. At first glance it would seem that they get the same gas mileage. More than likely the five-hundred has a considerably larger gas tank and went through more gas. Eight cylinders is going to use more gas than a four cyclinder. Especially when one is domestic and one is imported.
