Anyways, based on what you have told us (and I am going to give this girl the benefit of the doubt and assume she isn't just a cheater), the guy she is currently with is just Mr. Right Now. She's with him because she doesn't want to be single and she had no better options. You came along and she was maybe caught off guard and accidently spit out that she had a boyfriend. Maybe that's reactionary from getting hit on at work, something I had warned of earlier. When she realized it was you, and you were serious and that she liked you, she tried to backtrack and say "we could go for drinks." If I am right though, you may see her single in the near future, now that she knows she has other options.
But what the heck do I know? It's early here, I barely slept last night and my feet are cold. Either way, sorry it didn't work out.
