Personally, I don't know what to make of the forward lines right now.
I think Gaudreau and Monahan are great together, despite them not being off to a great start this year.
Tkachuk deserves better line-mates, whatever shape that should take.
Backlund and Frolik were good together, which simplified things. But Frolik has been no good this year, so that's out the window and something needs to change there.
We need someone else to take a step forward, whether it's Bennett, Mangiapane, Dube, or whoever. We need another guy to become a legit top 6 guy.
For me, a guy like Toffoli would be a great addition at a reasonable price:
Gaudreau - Monahan - Toffoli
Tkachuk - Backlund - Lindholm
Mangiapane - Ryan - Bennett
