It’s not about being offended.
It’s dumb, useless, pointless emotionally potent oversimplification that draws people into its irrelevancy like watching two old men yell at each other. It’s nothing more than click bait.
It would be one thing to say on a talk show but it’s completely disconnected from hockey, has been for some time, & the time slot could be filled with something more useful to the sport.
It needs to end & if this does it... good riddance.
